WHERE IS THE HUMANISM IN URBAN SOCIETY?
人-梦-城 URBAN SOCIETY DESIGN CONSULTANCY
Chinese URBAN Society ProblemsIn China, the generations are disconnected. More people struggle for survival alone and there is less communication and care between humans. China is facing a huge ageing population where the old generation is isolated and not integrated in society. Old people need purpose and respect. They need to feel they contribute to society. We see more materialism and consumerism instead of human connections and human trust. Furthermore there is a waste of space in cities - less community space. We are gradually losing what makes us human: connection, trust, care and love.
